It’s an honor to welcome award-winning novelist, short story writer, blogger and fellow CLFA member Sarah A. Hoyt to Writestream Tuesday on February 4 at 1 p.m. Eastern. This incredibly talented and prolific author has produced eighteen novels, maintains a popular blog, and interacts actively with all CFLA members, always offering insightful commentary and analysis on a variety of issues. To quote her directly:

Hi there. I’m Sarah A. Hoyt. I am a novelist with (I think) eighteen novels out. There might be more, as I haven’t counted recently. I could tell you what genres I write in, but that is liable to change on very short notice. So far I haven’t written pure romance, hard sci fi or man’s adventure. However my unofficial motto is “no genre is safe from me.” To find out more about what I’ve done to various innocent tropes and subgenres, check out sarahahoyt.com I even have free samples of my books and a few free short stories. (Look under blue plate special!)

For more and links to buy my books, look under the “my books” tab, next to this one. All purchases appreciated, because unfortunately writers have to eat and keep a roof over their heads while writing.

Isn’t that the truth? 😉

Sarah’s science fiction novels are published by Baen Books and her novellas and short stories by Goldport Press. I will do my best to help her keep a roof over her head and food on the table by encouraging my readers and listeners to tune in to our Writestream interview on Tuesday, February 4 at 1 p.m. Eastern. During the live broadcast we welcome your calls at 347-945-7246 and your participation in the live chat room. Incidentally, if you prefer to listen through your phone rather than online, you can dial that same number. Of course, if you’re already intrigued and/or inclined to purchase a book or two by Sarah A. Hoyt before next week’s interview, you can just click here.

For a taste of what’s to come, watch Sarah’s acceptance speech below.

See you then!
