The Peoples Vote Launch Delayed

Please see the following message from The Peoples Vote.com founder and CEO Chuck Kirkpatrick:

In March of this year, our lead investor failed due diligence background screening, and I walked away from a deal that would have fully funded ThePeoplesVote.com. It is imperative that our Directors and Shareholders have a history of honesty and ethical dealings with the public. We expect that from our elected officials and we can expect no less from our corporate leaders.

A lot of wheels had been put in motion at that time, and I made the decision to continue to move forward with what resources we had, and the best resource was a strong, dedicated and loyal team of volunteers that care about our mission, our vision and our country. I have spent the last two years and every dollar getting ThePeoplesVote.com to this point. The “live” system must function in the same manner as the prototype, and releasing anything less to the public does not measure up to what I saw in my dreams in May 2010. If citizens are going to change the system that has disenfranchised them for over 225 years, they need ThePeoplesVote.com to operate at 100% capacity, with 100% of our features operational.

So at 11:15 p.m. EST on July 4th I made the decision to put our launch on hold. We need more development and testing time, additional programmers, more supporters, and more expertise. This was not an easy decision, but it was the right decision. Millions of Americans are counting on ThePeoplesVote.com system, and that means the system operating at 100%, and I will not give America anything less.

For decades, Superbowls have been won when a team was forced to back up and punt. Companies are no different, and I know we have millions of fans that are counting on ThePeoplesVote.com. We won’t let you down. I will be conferencing with our management team first thing and will issue an update.

I am the proud Founder and CEO of ThePeoplesVote.com and my team and I will bring this System to America!

Knowing Chuck to be a man of integrity and principle, this is the absolute right decision. I much prefer to be associated with a company that does everything the right way and over-delivers on its promises instead of failing to live up to them.

Meanwhile, The Peoples Vote.com twitter chat proceeds as planned. Beginning on Wednesday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m., join in the conversation using #thepeoplesvote as we discuss issues of importance to Americans.

And don’t forget to converse with The Peoples Vote.com on all of our social media platforms, which will continue to engage voters as we move ahead and share developments as they unfold.
