Day 5 – Tasha Chen’s Science of Getting Rich Academy

Day 5 – Tasha Chen’s Science of Getting Rich Academy

My favorite excerpt from Chapter 5:

You must get rid of the last vestige of the old idea that there is a Deity whose will it is that you should be poor, or whose purposes may be served by keeping you in poverty.

The Intelligent Substance which is All, and in All, and which lives in ALL and lives in you, is a consciously Living Substance. Being a consciously living substance, It must have the nature and inherent desire of every living intelligence for increase of life. Every living thing must continually seek for the enlargement of its life, because life, in the mere act of living, must increase itself.

The desire for riches is simply the capacity for larger life seeking fulfillment; every desire is the effort of an unexpressed possibility to come into action. It is power seeking to manifest which causes desire. That which makes you want more money is the same as that which makes the plant grow; it is Life, seeking fuller expression.

For me, releasing the old Catholic school programming that life was all about suffering and taking up your cross was incredibly freeing. The positive messages about money, success, and individuality I received at home often conflicted with the constant negative messages hammered into me by the nuns. As an adult, I realize that they were only doing what they believed to be right for the souls of the children in their care. But a child hearing their stern lectures, I often wondered, “if money is evil and earning it is wrong, why and how do they expect people to give to the weekly collection at Mass?”

Thanks to Tasha and W.D. Wattles, I have blessed this aspect of my past and moved on. Once I understood the origins of my subconscious feelings about money, I let it all go. Now I know that I can live and thrive on the creative plane, where there is an endless supply for everyone, and help others by making the most of myself.

Day Two – Tasha Chen’s Science of Getting Rich Academy

Day Two – Tasha Chen’s Science of Getting Rich Academy

There is a Science of Getting Rich

Below is an excerpt from Chapter 2 of Wallace D. Wattles’ book:

It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects; and therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich.

That the above statement is true is shown by the following facts.

Getting rich is not a matter of environment, for, if it were, all people in certain neighborhoods would become wealthy; the people of one city would all be rich, while those of other towns would be poor; or the inhabitants of one state would roll in wealth, while those of an adjoining state would be in poverty.

But everywhere we see rich and poor living side-by-side in the same environment, and often engaged in the same vocations. When two people are in the same locality, and one gets rich while the other remains poor, it shows that getting rich is not, primarily, a matter of environment. Some environments may be more favorable than others, but when two people in the same business are in the same neighborhood, and one gets rich while the other fails, it indicates that getting rich is a result of doing things in a Certain Way.

Day One – Tasha Chen’s Science of Getting Rich Academy

Day One – Tasha Chen’s Science of Getting Rich Academy

I restarted Tasha Chen’s 30-Day Program today, based on the book, The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles. It’s hard to believe it has been almost two years since I first met Tasha and became a part of her wonderful community of manifesting magnets, but I am forever grateful I did.

Her joyful, “easy and relaxed” approach to teaching and sharing these timeless principles makes it a pleasure to release old, tired, negative programming and embrace the Truth as summed up by Wattles in Chapter One:

The object of all life is development; and everything that lives has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of attaining.

A person’s right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical enfoldment; or in other words, his right to be rich.

There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. The desire for riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant life; and that desire is praiseworthy. The person who does not desire to live more abundantly is abnormal, and so the person who does not desire to have money enough to buy all he wants is abnormal.

It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich; if you are a normal man or woman you cannot help doing so. It is perfectly right that you should give your best attention to The Science of Getting Rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all studies. If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to God, yourself, and humanity; for you can render to humanity no greater gift than to make the most of yourself.

Watch Tasha below for a preview of what you can expect when you decide to partner with her to create the life of your dreams. There’s more than one reason why I’m doing this again, and the most exciting one will be revealed soon!

Ima Sumac Watkins Offering a Meditation and Intuition Tele-class

Having experienced Ima’s insights, talents, and counseling one-on-one, I’m looking forward to participating in this course. If you missed my interview with Ima Sumac Watkins on The Writestream, click below to listen and learn more about this fabulous woman and her life-changing services.

As noted in the interview, lately I’ve been studying the works of Florence Scovel Shinn. I’d heard of her years ago through my attendance at Unity Church in Delray Beach, where Reverend Nancy Norman often referenced her in sermons. Last year, I found her books on audio on You Tube and started listening repeatedly. Recently, I ordered her complete works in paperback and have been actively reading and taking notes every day.

Due to Shinn’s conversational writing style and ability to explain these concepts in a down-to-earth, humorous way, her books and affirmations resonate with me unlike any previously. There have been many worthy teachers (in the form of real people and books) along the way, so I’m not diminishing anyone else. I’ve learned and continue to gain lessons from all of them. It’s just that at this time, Florence Scovel Shinn seems to speak to me like no other. I highly recommend reading and studying her complete works.

And, if you, like me, also wish to talk with a contemporary practitioner, give Ima a call to register for her tele-class. Learn more about Ima Sumac Watkins at www.About.Me/iwatkins.
