Day 2 – Tasha Chen’s Science of Getting Rich Academy

Day 2 – Tasha Chen’s Science of Getting Rich Academy

There is a Science of Getting Rich

Below is an excerpt from Chapter 2 of Wallace D. Wattles’ book:

It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects; and therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich.

That the above statement is true is shown by the following facts.

Getting rich is not a matter of environment, for, if it were, all people in certain neighborhoods would become wealthy; the people of one city would all be rich, while those of other towns would be poor; or the inhabitants of one state would roll in wealth, while those of an adjoining state would be in poverty.

But everywhere we see rich and poor living side-by-side in the same environment, and often engaged in the same vocations. When two people are in the same locality, and one gets rich while the other remains poor, it shows that getting rich is not, primarily, a matter of environment. Some environments may be more favorable than others, but when two people in the same business are in the same neighborhood, and one gets rich while the other fails, it indicates that getting rich is a result of doing things in a Certain Way.

The Game of Life and How to Play It

The Game of Life and How to Play It

I recently discovered the book, The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn (1925), via the You Are Creators channel on YouTube.

GameofLifeBookIn his editorial review on Amazon, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale states, “The Game of Life is filled with wisdom and creative insights. That its teachings will work I know to be fact, for I’ve long used them myself.”

Much like The Science of Getting Rich by W.D. Wattles, The Game of Life and How to Play It explains the metaphysical principle of thoughts becoming things (because thoughts invoke a feeling/vibration), and Universal Laws including the Law of Attraction, the Law of Substitution, and The Law of Cause and Effect.  While many today would consider this New Age,  The Game of Life and How to Play It was published in 1925. Shinn, an American artist and book illustrator, became a New Thought teacher in her middle years, following in the footsteps of others like Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, co-founders of Unity Church.

Midweek Meditation: ‘It is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom’

SunriseApril3

Another inspiring sermon from Reverend Nancy Norman of Unity Church, Delray Beach Florida.

During these challenging times, it’s comforting and reassuring to reflect upon timeless truths and remember that God IS our source. And as Nancy reminds us, “True prosperity, true wealth is a sense of well-being in every area of our lives. That means health, that means loving relationships, money, friends.”

Remember to “ask for what you really want, what you really desire. That is God tapping on the door of our consciousness saying, ‘Yes.'”

Psalm 20

May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.

May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.

May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God.

May the Lord grant all your requests.

Now this I know:

The Lord gives victory to his anointed.

He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.

Lord, give victory to the king!

Answer us when we call!
